Overall an enjoyable stay at their daughter's wedding. Reasonably spacious and clean venue with a good value and efficient and attentive staff. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Spotless room with extra large bed and tea as expected. 200 metres to the bus stop.
No reception.

Superb facilities, very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent menu offering lots of locally sourced, delicious foods, competitively priced. Rooms were spacious and had lots of little 'extra touches' such as a range of snacks, quality coffee sachets, a stereo sound system and modern freeview TV. (Although digital reception was poor!).
Could possibly have had a slightly wider range of local beers at the bar. TV reception was poor, but may be due to hotel's location which would be outside of Wentbridge's control.

We attended the wedding of Matthew Long and Jo Shannon on Fri 29th April. Everything went smoothly and very well presented. We enjoyed our stay very much and would reccommend it to friends and family.

A fantastic hotel. Friendly staff and food was excellent. The building has lots of character, but is still clean and comfortable. Cannot complain in any way.
A bit on the expensive side compared to budget hotel options, but being realistic you certainly get what you pay for.

I was upgraded to a superior room on arrival which was a nice surprise and staff made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant food was first class and justified the slightly higher prices than you would normally see so well worthwhile.
The only thing I didn't like is the fact that I was only staying there for one night on business - one week would have been much nicer! :-)
